Bruce ORR was born in Rome and grew up in Delaware. He holds a Master’s of Art Therapy from Hahnemann University and a B.F.A. from The University of the Arts. Bruce has worked as an Art Therapist in a psychiatric hospital, a nationally published illustrator, a painter, a street caricaturist, an art teacher and a professional puppeteer. His artistic accomplishments include writing curricula for Oregon Public Broadcasting, making giant recycled sandals for Keen Footwear and painting a mural with students from James John Elementary School in Portland. He founded The Mudeye Puppet Company, a puppetry arts organization that promotes creative reuse through education and performance. When not doing art, he plays drums, Boggle and hangs out with his kids.

Good to Go is Raw Art Works' (RAW) all male public art team. RAW is a Lynn-based nonprofit whose mission is to ignite the desire to create and the confidence to succeed in underserved youth. Using art therapy techniques, they offer alternative opportunities for development, learning, and success. RAW supports youth as they form their identity, discover their strengths, embrace their cultural heritage, and build community as they transition to adulthood.
