ARTIST STATEMENT

“The project that I will be doing for the Beyond Walls festival is called “Error”. This project is an attempt at painting related to the digital, analog error occurring in the era of image digitization. The work aims to reproduce various visual processes that are generated by incorrect data recording. Visual defect is the starting point for creating compositions in urban space. The resulting images are not always characterized by meanings, they are to create the impression of movement on the recipient - stimulating the imagination with visual awareness. The works refer to the aesthetics called glitch art and kinetic art.”

⚐ - Poland

Born in 1989 in Kalisz ,Poland. Graduate of painting and graphics at the faculty of art pedagogical in Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, artistic and pedagogical department in Kalisz. I am inspired by the city spirit, people, architecture, post-industrial, abandoned places, which are many in cities, I want to change their "ugliness" into something interesting. I try to blend in with their natural character. My latest project "Error" is a painting attempt related to the digital, analog error occurring in the era of digitizing the image. The works are aimed at reproducing various visual processes that are generated by incorrect data recording.
